The volume is indicated by the changing colors of the LEDs on the silicone ears.
The device is operated via the membrane keypad, which also shows the dB display and the alarm LEDs.
Operation of the device is simple and self-explanatory.
The internal MP3 player is equipped with various Gema-free music tracks. Operation with an external audio device: Place the headphones of your switched-on audio device on the silicone ears of the HÖR-BOOSTER.
The HÖR-BOOSTER then measures the volume you have set on your audio device / audio source.
The volume is then displayed in dB and the result is also visualized by the color of the silicone ears. Green = not dangerous – everything ok Yellow = borderline – caution Red = too loud – hearing damage possible Operation via the internal MP3 player of the HE ARING BOOSTER: Put on the headphones of the HEARING BOOSTER, select your favorite music, turn the music up louder and louder, dB are displayed.
The color of the silicone ears changes as the dB level increases: yellow (from 75dB) and red (from 90dB).
Before a volume above 90dB can be set, the test person is asked a safety question.
