ecco cleaner – the professional cleaning device for hearing aids
ecco cleaner – the professional cleaning device for hearing aids Eng. (FH) Automation technology, developed the first rapid hearing tester in 1998 – it was more of a hobby – but it quickly became clear that many acousticians could use such a marketing tool for customer acquisition. Thus, in the year 2000, the company eccola was founded as a sole proprietorship with Udo Maurer as the managing director – in 2008, eccola was converted into a GmbH and the second managing director, Ms. Petra Maurer, Dipl. Business economist (FH), came on board. From what was once a hearing tester, a comprehensive range of products for the field of hearing aid acoustics, as well as a wide selection of promotional activities for customer acquisition, has emerged in the meantime.
FAQ - ecco cleaner
1. What if the ecco cleaner no longer builds pressure? Please check if the device has been cleaned regularly or perform a cleaning according to the operating instructions – it is possible that only the filter is dirty and there is cerumen in the filter area.
If the ecco cleaner is cleaned – then please also check if the blue screw on the filter cover is closed and not turning. If it is not closed – then remove the filter cover and hold a screwdriver against the blue screw from the inside and tighten the blue screw – then reattach the filter cover and close it.
If neither cleaning nor tightening the blue screw has been successful, please send the device to us – with a description of the error (you can also use our repair and warranty form which you can find on our homepage) – please also provide a contact person with an email address so that we can get back to you quickly.
2. What if the filter cover of the ecco cleaner cannot be removed?
The filter cover sometimes tightens through the use of the ecco cleaner – if it becomes difficult or impossible to open, please use a 12″ wrench – and place it under the blue cap, on the transparent cap. This opens the filter cover counterclockwise. A tip: before screwing the transparent cap back on, put a drop of oil on the thread.
